Stone Brook Homes SMS Messaging Program
Last updated: 6 August 2026 · Effective immediately
Stone Brook Homes sends build progress text messages to homeowners who have an active residential construction contract with the company. This page describes that program in full: who runs it, what it sends, who receives it, how a homeowner agrees to it, how often it sends, how to stop it, and how to reach a person about it.
1. Who operates this program
Stone Brook Homes, a residential home builder, operates this messaging program. Stone Brook Homes builds custom and production homes and manages each build from breaking ground to handing over the keys. The company sends these messages itself, to its own customers, about their own builds.
- Business name. Stone Brook Homes
- Business website. stonebrook-homes.com
- Phone. (262) 567-4100
- Email. brettetzel@stonebrook-homes.com
Messages are delivered through BuilderView, the private client portal Stone Brook Homes operates for its builders and homeowners at builderview.ai. BuilderView is the software the company uses to run the program; Stone Brook Homes is the business the messages come from.
2. What the program sends
Every message is a direct message about one specific build, written by the homeowner's project manager from inside the portal. There is one kind:
- The project manager sends a message about the build, or replies to a message the homeowner sent.
This program sends no marketing, no promotions, and no advertising. It does not send anything to anyone who is not already a Stone Brook Homes customer with a build in progress.
3. Who receives messages, and how they agree to them
Only a homeowner who has signed a residential construction contract with Stone Brook Homes and who has been invited to their own build in the portal can receive these messages. Every recipient is an existing customer. There is no public sign-up, no purchased list, and no way for a member of the public to be added.
A homeowner gives permission verbally, in person or by phone, at the project kickoff call or the contract review — the same conversation in which they give their mobile number. The project manager asks whether Stone Brook Homes may text them about their build, and reads this disclosure aloud:
Stone Brook Homes will text you updates about your build at this number. Message frequency varies with project activity. Message and data rates may apply. Terms and conditions: builderview.ai/terms. Privacy policy: builderview.ai/privacy. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help.
The number is enrolled only if the homeowner answers yes, and the project manager records that answer against the project. Saying yes is separate from accepting the portal Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and it is not part of the construction contract. Agreeing to text messages is optional. A homeowner who declines still gets the same build, the same portal, and the same email notifications; consent to texts is not a condition of purchase or of using the portal.
Subscribe from your phone
Text START to (262) 444-0318 to subscribe to Stone Brook Homes build updates. YES and UNSTOP work the same way.
Build progress messages from Stone Brook Homes. Message frequency varies with project activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. See the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
4. How often messages arrive
Message frequency varies with the pace of the build. A project manager sends a message when there is something to say about the homeowner's build, or when replying to one. A week with a lot of site activity may carry several messages; a quiet week may carry none. Messages are not sent overnight.
5. What it costs
Stone Brook Homes charges nothing for these messages. Message and data rates may apply, depending on the homeowner's own mobile plan and carrier.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
6. How to stop messages
Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. The reply is free, it takes effect immediately, and Stone Brook Homes sends one confirmation message and then nothing further about that build.
Any of these words works, in upper or lower case: STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, STOPALL, CANCELALL, REVOKE, OPTOUT.
Texting START to (262) 444-0318 subscribes a homeowner to these updates, or resubscribes one who had stopped them. START, YES and UNSTOP all work, in upper or lower case, and none of them needs a login. Stone Brook Homes replies with one confirmation message naming the program, how often it sends, that message and data rates may apply, and how to stop. A homeowner who prefers not to text can also stop or resume these messages from their own notification settings inside the portal, which clears the opt-out the same way. Email notifications and the portal itself are unaffected by a text opt-out — nothing about the build stops being visible.
7. How to get help
Reply HELP to any message for program information and contact details. Either of these words works, in upper or lower case: HELP, INFO.
A person is reachable either way:
8. Mobile numbers and privacy
Mobile phone numbers and messaging consent records collected for this program stay inside Stone Brook Homes. We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Numbers are used only to deliver the build updates described in section 2, and only for the build the homeowner is party to. Twilio delivers the messages on Stone Brook Homes' behalf as a service provider and processes the phone number and message content for that purpose alone. Full detail on what is collected and how long it is kept is in the Privacy Policy.
9. Terms, privacy, and questions
This program is governed by the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy for the BuilderView portal, which Stone Brook Homes operates.
Questions about this messaging program, about a specific message, or about a number on file should go to Stone Brook Homes at (262) 567-4100 or brettetzel@stonebrook-homes.com.
